Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how OrbitApps and its products collect, use, and protect your information. It covers all of our apps, including Wallety and Qurany. Our apps differ in what they do, so where a practice applies to only one of them we say so explicitly. By using our apps, you agree to the practices described here.

The short version: your personal content lives on your device. Wallety works fully offline and needs no account. Qurany works offline too, but a few optional features — sharing goals in a Circle, and opt-in crash reporting — involve a server, and this policy explains exactly what those send.

2. Information We Collect

a. App data on your device (all apps)

The content you create in our apps — expenses and records in Wallety; reading, memorization, goals, and reflections in Qurany — is stored locally on your device. By default it is not transmitted to any server and is not shared with third parties. The only exceptions are the shared and opt-in features described in sections 3–5, which apply to Qurany.

b. Account information (Qurany only)

Qurany does not require an account to read or to track your own practice. If you choose to create or join a Circle (shared goals with family or friends), you create a free account with your email address and a password. Authentication and this account are handled by Supabase, our backend provider, on servers in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). We store your email and an account identifier; your password is hashed and managed by Supabase. Wallety has no accounts.

3. Circles & shared goals (Qurany only)

A Circle lets you share a goal with other people and encourage one another. When you create or join a Circle, the following is stored on our backend (Supabase, EU) and is visible to the other members of that Circle:

• Your display name and, if you set one, your avatar image
• The goals you choose to share into the Circle
• Your progress and completion on those shared goals
• Presence — whether you are currently active — shown to members in real time

Only what you share into a Circle leaves your device. Your private practice, your reflections, and any goals you do not share remain on your device and are not uploaded. Account-related emails (such as confirmation and password-reset messages) are sent on our behalf by Resend.

4. Crash & error reporting (Qurany only, opt-in)

To help us fix problems, Qurany can send anonymized crash and error reports using Sentry (servers in the European Union, Germany). This is off by default and is only enabled if you turn it on. When enabled, a report may include:

• The error and its technical stack trace
• Your device model, operating-system version, and app version

Reports are scrubbed before sending: they do not include your name or email, and they deliberately exclude your reading, practice, or reflection content and any religious or other special-category information. You can turn crash reporting off again at any time in Settings, after which nothing further is sent. Wallety does not include crash reporting.

5. Camera Permission (some apps)

Some apps may request access to your device's camera for optional features such as scanning receipts or attaching images. Camera access is:

• Used only when you explicitly choose to use it
• Never used in the background
• Stored locally on your device — images are not uploaded or shared

6. Other Network Connections

a. In-app announcements (Wallety)

Wallety occasionally shows an announcement card — for example, news about a new version, or a question about a feature we are considering. To do this, the app downloads a small static file from our website. The same file is sent to everyone.

• The request contains no identifiers — no account, no device ID, no advertising ID
• It does not include your app version, language, or any information about you
• Nothing is uploaded. The app only reads the file
• We do not track whether you saw or tapped an announcement
• You can turn this off entirely in Settings → Notifications

Which announcement you see, if any, is decided on your device — not by us.

b. Purchases (Wallety)

Wallety offers paid features. If you buy a subscription or a lifetime unlock, the purchase is processed by Apple or Google, and we use RevenueCat to check whether your purchase is active — using a randomly generated ID, not your name or email, and carrying no financial data from the app. Qurany is free and contains no purchases.

c. Notifications (Qurany)

Qurany's reminders are scheduled locally on your device, with your permission. We do not operate a push-notification server and receive nothing when a reminder fires.

7. Third-party Services

We use a small number of processors, only for the purposes above. We do not sell, trade, or share your data for advertising, and our apps contain no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics or tracking.

• Supabase — accounts and Circle data for Qurany (hosted in the EU, Frankfurt)
• Resend — sends Qurany's account emails (confirmation, password reset)
• Sentry — opt-in crash reports for Qurany (hosted in the EU, Germany)
• RevenueCat, with Apple / Google — purchase verification for Wallety

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Data stored on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app; you stay in control of it at all times.

For Qurany accounts, you can delete your account directly in the app (Settings → Delete account). Deleting your account removes the account and the data we hold for it on our backend — including Circles you own, your Circle memberships, and your avatar. You can also request deletion by emailing us at hello@orbitapps.net.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. On-device data stays under your control; account and Circle data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored by Supabase in the European Union.

10. Children's Privacy

Our apps do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.

11. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
